Serving is a core value at Calvary West, and we strongly encourage everyone in our congregation to connect by serving others. Each year, we host CalvaryServe that highlights the many ways through which you can become involved at Calvary West. Our prayer is that you will explore the variety of opportunities to serve and “find your ministry."
We passionately believe that every follower of Jesus has been given gifts by God for acts of service. “My friends, you were chosen to be free. So don’t use your freedom as an excuse to do anything you want. Use it as an opportunity to serve each other with love” (Galatians 5:13). Finding your ministry through serving accomplishes the following:
- Serving helps you to fulfill the call of God on your life.
- Serving helps God’s church to be more effective in ministering to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our community and beyond.
If you are not yet serving in a ministry at Calvary West, visit us on February 11 or 18 and discover the many volunteer opportunities in which you can become involved!
